Pho!

April 29, 2008

Man, this stuff gets me hyped. Its actually pronounced ( fuh ) but I still just say it like Pho.

I have been eating at this place called Thai Son for over 3 years now and still eating the same Vietnamese order . I get a number 1 which is everything in a bowl. When I say everything, I mean everything…. like beef tendon, beef balls (ground beef, I ain’t that hungry), tripe, flank, and rare beef which is pink when it arrives, but is cooked by the time you are ready to eat it. The broth is made from cooked onions and the beef balls and some spices. Its served with fresh basil ,lemon wedge, fresh bean sprouts and some sliced chili. You put the bean sprouts in to absorb the broth and cool it down quicker, as well as fill you up a bit more, and the basil , lemon and chili to steez it up to your desired taste. I’m sure you probably know what Pho is all about but…

noordle1.jpgI seriously love this place. The salad rolls are amazing as well with a killer peanut sauce. The large bowl of Pho comes to around 7 bucks and is a meal that fills. My friend always refers to it as A.C.L. soup because of the tendon, but I don’t care. Its always busy and the food gets there seriously within 4 minutes and you get free jasmine tea. A real good spot.

Went to Playland with the kiddies and was loving the looks of this ride. Do you think Biz Markie knows that he’s in the photo?
