I’m probably stepping on someone else’s turf here… but here goes.

Vancouver use to be a semi-industrial city. There were mills and industrial shops everywhere along the waterfront, and all along False Creek. Looking at any picture of the city now, you can see that the industrial history of Vancouver is quickly becoming extinct, everyday being replaced with condos and other modern city things…
