I must admit, it was a pretty awesome summer and heres why :
BRAVE ART 2008
Photos here Info here – This year’s Brave Art was pretty successful in getting a lot of great work displayed and even getting some sold. The show exhibited in Vancouver at Ayden Gallery (Tineseltown) until July 13th. Make sure to come out next year!
THE CHEAPER SHOW NO.8
Photos here Info here This event was a lot of work – and was mainly curated and directed by Greame Berglund and Heidi Iro along with the team of artists Jesse Savath, Zoe Peled, Adam Fryatt and Meghan Patterson. The main goal of the event was to give typically non-exhibiting artists a chance to show their work to the public eye and mind and potentially get it bought too. The night was a success with a huge turn out and almost all the art work selling out.
LIVESTOCK BLOCK PARTY 2008
PHOTOS here – The turn out was awesome, I couldn’t open my Guu is so Guuud Tokyo Pop, eventually had to use a knife to crack it open and the music was the best. The best thing about the event was how loose and relxed everyone got and just went with the flow to other people’s energies and vibes. Cheers to everyone who came out!
