definatly awesome

POSTED October 9, 2008 BY Calen Knauf

I got a call this morning at like 8 o clock from a guy who read my craigslist post about my stolen bike. he said he saw it down on hastings but it was painted white. I raced down there and found and followed the guy, called the cops, and now I have my bike. so thanks to the dude that called me this morning. your why vancouver is awesome.

wow..that is insane(awesome) that the guy saw it and recognized it eventhough it was repainted. Give us the rest of the story…did you have to hold the guy?…or did you have to follow him all stealth-like while calling the cops?

Same sort of thing happened to me! I posted my stolen bike on craigs and a dude emailed me back saying that he had bought it off a guy on Hastings. He felt horrible riding around on it thinking it was most likely stolen so he looked on craigs. He saw my post and he gave me my bike back. I was so thankful!

I very recently bought a very cool CBR but had a small misfortune! I tried to brake slowly and consistently with the front brakes but the wheel basically instantly fell out under from me! I have been on the back of a bike with a dood before who has brought the back bike into the air by braking hard with the front brake! How does he do it different? Im dumbstruck!
