Remember Those That Died Before Us

Approximately, 45,300 Canadians died in World War II. Other countries like my family’s homeland Poland had 5.6 million casualties which was 16% of its population in 1939. I honestly can not believe the horror that these people endured, both soldiers and civilians. Make sure you watch at least one WW II documentary on the history channel this week and try to imagine your life in the same scenario. History repeats itself, so lets not make the same wrong choices of our ancestors. I believe it is worth fighting to save the life of our love ones, but not worth dying to only sustain a spiraling destructive society. Just remember what life is worth.
Let me leave you with some words of inspiration from John Lennon:
*sorry for the seriousness post, but I think it is important we all take a moment to remember.
