Bob K. skimming on the roof of his old apartment in kits sometime during the late 90′s featured in Dax Kenny’s First Issue of “The Skimboards Sessions Chronicles”. Only 60 copies ever made, including hand done issue tags and O.G. Sprint stickers. One of the coolest and soulful Zines that I have ever seen!

A little boy named Cole Fairfield Carter needs our help. At the age of 2 he was diagnosed with an advanced brain tumor and has been fighting very hard and doing an amazing job! Cole’s parents had to quit their jobs and move to BC so he could get the treatment he needed at the Vancouver Hospital for Sick Children.  Cole is the nephew of Terry, one of our Sound Artists on the Skate game at EA – the Sound Artist that recorded all of the pros voice overs, and I will be auctioning off a bunch more unsigned pro decks from some of the pros in Skate 2 who are donating their decks for Cole’s auction. Awesome!

Please check out the Team Cole blog and place your bids for 1 of 3 EA Skate decks autographed by Chris Haslam. They are the perfect gift for a skateboard collector, Haslam fan or EA Skate enthusiast. I’ll throw in a t-shirt and a copy of Skate 2 (on X360 or PS3) which hits shelves up here on Friday, Jan 23rd!

of all the 24 hour food joints in vancouver that I know about eastvan is home to 5 out of seven spots. the naam dosent really count cause its a veggie spot so really it should be 5 out of 6. Theres nothing like the feeling of knowing no matter what time it is you can still get tripe and cheesecake without fail. if Anyone has any other spots I dont know about throw them in the ring.(please no dennys, its not considered a restaurant, its considered a shit hole).

Duffins, one of the best spots 24 hours or not. Torta subs, namwiches, chinese, burgers, shakes, bubble tea, macheteed young coconut… oh and donuts.(RIP main st location. nothing like watching 6 old filipino guys gambling outside under a sign saying “no gambling”)

Gold train, A delicious mix of pho and sensory overload anytime of day.

Bino’s, personally I have never been here cause I have a thing with tan and brown signs and brown tinted windows, but every one from champlain swears by it.

Tops, one of the more classy spots, you can get cheescake and chicken fingers an shit. its kinda like whitespot.
