I recently came across a photo-based project by Vancouver’s T. Reilly Hodgson and and Toronto’s Dimitri Karakostas. Blood of the Young Zine’s main interest is to spotlight and bring together young photographers, giving them the exposure they feel they deserve. The zine/blog is updated frequently with news, interviews (Vancouver’s Seth Fluker was their most recent), features and zine reviews.  There are plans of both a PDF zine and a limited-run print zine -  they are currently accepting submissions for their first issue, 2012/Apocalypse. Be sure to check out the great photos that these two have hand-selected from contributors all over the world, there truly are some gems.
