Everytime I hear the name “Prince George Cougars” I think of the stupid cultural reference of some haggard 40 something picking up young men. I’m glad it’s all over… and you should be glad I didn’t find the photo that I really wanted to post.
Next round starts April 3rd 7:30…..
It seems a bit early to think of skimming but last year’s best day ever post was done on the 13th of April, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
I rolled by the hot shop today, checked out the new skims, planned my entire summer with the 09′ tidal chart, and saw the additions pd’s making that’ll make stopping there on the way to the beach even more worth it for skimboarders.
I can’t wait to pick up where I left off….

Pecha Kucha Night 5 went down last night and it was super awesome, as expected. My favorite presentations included Kris Krug from Raincity Studios‘ talk about social media, Jeff Topham’s touching story about his family moving from wartorn Liberia, Rex Weyler’s photo essay of one of Greenpeace’s first anti-whaling missions and, of course, our homies Matt Miyagawa and Vince Chan from Vancouverslop.com and Finale Design!
There were like 5 dudes with tripods and HVX cameras setup, whose HD videos you might see popping up on other sites soon, but for now here’s my handycam shot of Matt and Vince’s presentation…
