Last week's Straight had Vancouver writer and Schema blog senior articles editor, Jen Sookfong Lee on its cover giving props to author Wayson Choy (author of the Jade Peony and the newly published Not Yet) for inspiring newer generation writers like her to come up with her own stories from the Vancouver Chinatown experience. Lee's the End of East was published in 2007.
