sixcentpress2 Six Cent Press is a local company specializing in the manufacturing of custom pin back buttons / button packaging & turn style vending machines; they’ve been involved in the Vancouver community since ‘01 and continue to reinvest in this project / business to bring buttons & vending machines to a new level.

Over the next few weeks S.C.P. will be bringing you their 5 favorite vending machines from around Vancouver, along with some words about them. Here’s the first:

Gotta love the sales pitch; a talking vending machine is sure to get that $.25 out of your pocket, I mean wouldn’t you want to know what it has to say! Stop by Family Coin Laundry Mat @ 2092 Kingsway and check it out for yourself & for only a quarter, maybe just maybe you’ll get an earful.

With the passing of Dale H. Devore 10 yrs back, his small fleet of talking turn style vending machines that operated under the business name Talking Vendor Co. and his route stretching from Powell & Hastings, Main to Kingsway primarily of laundry mats were left to be tended for by their shop keepers…

“Dale worked that route till the day he died!” – Mrs. Devore

Please contact us (levi@sixcentpress.com) if you know of an awesome vending machine in your neighborhood.
