NAME: Moose. BREED: Chocolate lab (UK style – big head, short legs!). HOOD: Burnaby officially but spends at lot of time at Trout Lake. FAVORITE SNACK: Cheese on toast. OTHER INFO: He has peed in every Province in Canada. Can’t wait to take him on a tour of the Territories!

Back on April-long, the Powell team was in town for a skate jam at Port Coquitlam park and the FUN! video premiere at Boulevard skateshop. Vancouver’s Jordan Hoffart captains the young Powell AM squad and was recently upgraded to Pro status. ConcreteSkateboarding.com just posted a little write-up and some skate photos from Powell’s day at the park where intermittent rain couldn’t dampen the shred spirits.

Cherry blossom season is almost over and I know there’s been numerous other posts, but this picture was to amazing to not show everyone. The Burrard Skytrain station was actually the spot for some of the cherry blossom festival celebrations earlier in the month. The entire station is bordered by cherry blossom trees, it’s a pretty amazing sight.

… or maybe just this season actually.

Along with the freshest fish in town, i believe they delivery the most “bang for the buck” in the sushi/sashimi category in Vancouver.

I was trying to find a good spot for a Cherry Blossom picture as it is an awesome part of this city. Really, they are all over the place but today after driving around and having my camera on hand I found this shot. It wasn’t 5 month a go that I was helping a man push his car out of the snow on this street and now look at it. While pushing the car the driver ended up clipping that van on the left. Ironically enough that moving van made the shot and brought some more history into the story. Never the less, Cherry Blossoms make the cut. Just make sure to keep that snow brush handy until after the petals fall. You may need it one more time if you’re parking under these beautiful trees. Yeah spring!
