We've partnered with CBC's Hockey Night in Canada Presents Play On!, the Official Canadian Street Hockey Tournament! This 4 on 4 competition is coming to Vancouver on June 13th and 14th and is not only going to be an awesome event but is also attempting to set the new Guinness Record for the World's Largest Street Hockey Tournament.
We've got a Vancouver Is Awesome Street Hockey Team (V.I.A.S.H.T.) registered in the tourney and headed up by our sports editor, Mr Jef Choy himself, so we'll be bringing you updates on their training leading up to the event along with coverage of what Jef has called "A potential win". How good our team is truly remains to be seen but it should be entertaining to watch our street hockey hopefuls and their journey to becoming the next Alex Burrows... or not.
