On this day, June 20th, 1992, the Vancouver Canucks picked Mike Peca in the 2nd round of the NHL entry draft. Good pick!

(we’ll forget all about Libor Polasek in the 1st round, Jeff Connelly in the 3rd round, Brent Tully in the 4th round, all who never played one game in the NHL…)
Also, in the 5th round, the Canucks drafted Adrian Aucoin (Jeff Choy’s favorite NHL’er)

Growing up playing hockey in North Van I had the same trainer as Libor, once or twice did on-ice circuit training together.
