The best thing about sneaking a spot on someone else’s boat in the summertime is being able to see our North Shore scenery from a different POV.

A recent trip from Lake Yaletown (what boat folk dub the area around Yaletown’s marinaside/Science World) into Deep Cove and up Indian Arm allowed me the chance to take snaps of a few hidden waterfalls, the old abandoned stone hydro buildings of Vancouver’s yesteryear and an absolutely bonkers-looking sky and sunset (on the return trip home).
Now if I only had a nautical-themed pashmina afghan…

thats really nice man – would be sweet do an in depth photo adventure in that building. i worked as staff at a camp once with at-risk youth when i was 17 off deep cove. i was so depressed when i came back because i missed the water and the mountains and the waterfalls – it really is a sweet place to be at.
