I’d just seen Billy Bragg perform an insane solo show at John’s Wesley church. He’s is one of the nicest humans on earth and actually ENJOYS hanging with us common folk. He seemed to dig that I was from Winnipeg and gave me a li’l half-hug. Of course I made a douchey face.

WHAT MAKES YOU ALMOST FAMOUS IN VANCOUVER ?
I’m a freelance writer, mostly in music, so I try and hit at as many shows as possible. By and large, musicians really like playing Vancouver. I like to think we give back a good vibe so it’s not hard to fanagle pre/post-show interviews with the fabulously famous.
