I have a confession to make, I'm a recovering Flame Hater....In the very recent past, I'd rather see the Flames lose than the Canucks win. The colour red, hardhats, moustaches, Jim Peplinski...I can't handle any of them....
In the spirit of this website, I'm now putting my efforts into liking the Canucks...the past is in the past...from here I look to the future...the immediate future, tomorrow night, the home opener.
The so called hockey experts are saying Vancouver and Calgary are the only two Canadian teams with even a remote chance at winning the cup this year. I must say, I'm in agreement, I think we'll be battling for the top of our division and like last year, maybe it'll all be sorted out in the first game of the season. You guys didn't choke down the streak...you just lost to us opening night....
The jock in me though can't let a game go by without some sort of challenge, a bet? How about if we lose, I grow a Lanny Macdonald, and you lose, you grow a Harold Snepsts?
