Mel Yap finds a unique niche in anything he wants to do. Lucky for us his niches lay in the arts, photography and music. They all carry a certain depth and complexity and yet they are palatable for most to enjoy. He has shown locally and internationally and his musicianship takes him wherever he’s needed.

1. My laptop blew up and i bought an imac.
2. 12 string eko ’67, my friend peever gave me that guitar. i think it belonged to his x girlfriends dad.
3. Spanish latte! ( having a heart decorated in my coffee is nice but im all about the zing in the caffeine.

I write and play music and I photograph and exhibit them.

I’m recording the soundtrack to my life and photographing my memory.
