Wrapping up my first week as the new intern here at Vancouver Is Awesome, and it has been insanely rad! Amongst the posting, emailing, and research doing, I have also got to experience some really awesome stuff! Including a media tour of the new Ravishing Beasts exhibit at the museum, and accompanying Bob as he filmed Nardwuar interviewing the 3-piece dance-punk band "Gossip" last night at Scratch records! I had the chance to shoot some pictures before the band had to rush to sound-check before their show at the Commodore last night!

The 2 members there were Beth Ditto (vocals) and Nathan Howdeshell (guitar/bass). They were enthusiastic, very friendly and especially impressed with all the personal items Nardwuar managed to get his hands on for the interview.

As far as first weeks go, this job has been GREAT and I'm really stoked to be a part of the VIA team!!
