I gave you this HEADS UP on sunflowers not long ago, then I took my own advice and harvested mine! I seriously can't believe how many I got off of 4 huge flowers that I didn't expect to get anything out of and simply planted as decoration in the garden. My experiment in Vancouver gardening taught me a few lessons this year and one of them is to definitely plant more sunflowers next year.
I dried these out and am probably cracking some open and spitting out the shells as you read this. Here's to micro successes in the garden.
