I recently read that with the construction they are doing on BC Place, the Lions and Whitecaps for their 2010 seasons, are maybe going to be playing at Empire Field!  My Hood just got that much better. It’s gonna be nutso, three out of our five major sports franchises within a block from my house. My jock self is just gonna get out of control: I’m breaking out the face paint, someone’s getting shoved in locker for sure. I’m not counting my chickens but man, that would be cool.

    i think the whitecaps would stay at swangard because they already have a suitable stadium for the new league that they’re starting with montreal for the 2010 season
