Am I allowed to talk about a “tweetup” on a blog? Movember, the month formerly known as November, is more than halfway done. Come show your mo! Vancouver-based Memelabs is hosting the official Movember video contest, and to spread the word about the cause, they’re hosting a manscaping event. The wonderful folks at The Diamond (6 Powell Street at the corner of Powell & Carrall in Gastown) are offering complimentary cocktails and canapes from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 19th (tomorrow).

Not sure how to style your flavour-saver? Event partner Dermalogica will be on hand to provide “shave-mapping” consultations, mini-treatments, and other goodies. Women welcome, ‘staches and Twitter accounts not required, but do bring your wallet to contribute funds to the Movember Foundation, which puts funds toward important men’s health issues like prostate cancer.
