aww man, just because I hate Flikr with a passion and don’t use it, I’m not included in the “local photographer” list? bummer.

flikr saved my life…..

ahhh! what did i start!?
flicker… or “flickr” is too busy, awful to navigate, awful for random companies going on and stealing you personal property (um, hello family photos showing up in grocery store windows in the UK!!!)… thats my beef.
i’d rather keep my photos to my professional photograhphy website and VIA itself.

@christine:
it is pretty easy to make images on flickr un-downloadable and therefore un-stealable. unless you count screenshots of which nothing is immune!!

Like Jeremy said, be a pro.

First of all I think Christine McAvoy is a great shooter, as displayed on her web page:
http://www.mcavoy.ca/
But, I assume Ms.McAvoy does this for a living, so understandably you don’t really need an inexpensive “web page” like Flickr. I on the other hand can’t afford my own page, so Flickr is a good alternative PLUS I get to be a part of great groups like CBC Radio3, The Vancouver School and of course Vancouver is Awesome… try it again, you may like it this time, and your work would be most appreciated.

I arrived just in time to see WAXY’s photos, but couldn’t stay.
Next time…next time !!
ps – flickr is great for people whom are passionate about photography. It’s not elitist. It’s FUN, which is what photography should be.

I had a great time hanging out with great people. Thanks, Awesome, for organizing a wonderful night. I hope you were able to raise some cash!!
It was nice to see you, airn. Next time for sure! And next time is gonna be soon.. for real!
Now bed time (unless I can process and upload a couple of photos quickly before my lids get too heavy).
