Thousands braved November rain for this years Eastside Culture Crawl

Having just relocated back to Vancouver, this was my very first Eastside Culture Crawl experience. My first impression was that the event was really cool and very well organized.

If you haven't scoped out this event it basically works like this:

You get yourself an event map or go to the event web site where you have the opportunity to research the various art studios / artists that are participating. Then you hit the road and pick your own adventure...

This annual (free) visual arts festival allows the public a 3 day glimpse into the lives of 300+ local artists (disbursed throughout east Van) who transform their personal workspace into mini galleries.

I'm looking forward to seeing next years event!

Check out a few photos from day 2 (11.21.2009).
