The “Bored of Canvas” deck show / benefit for the food bank at Bobby Paul in Port Moody raised $600 in the period of 3 hrs. Not only was the show a success but there was a winter festival that had children of all ages bundled up in toques and coats scrambling all over the place.

Kris Kupskay, one of the artists, made sure everyone was in the know.

The free horse carriage rides had parents and kids lined up for a couple blocks in the cold.

Local musicians played without gloves on.

Gingerbread people were created and eaten with joy.

I did one that was more an abstract expressionist representation of a gingerbread person.

A big tree with blue lights was the center of attention on one of the streets.

The children’s choir did their very best.

Santa was there of course.

Chestnuts were roasting.

Marshmallows were toasted over the coals.

The Grinch and Kris Kupskay got along pretty good.

And Kris made friends with Le Bonhomme. (does that mean cool guy in French?)
