“THE WORDS DON’T FIT THE PICTURE”
POSTED January 27, 2010 BY Ray Chwartkowski
The newest rollout via the Olympic and Paralympic Public Art Program is a public art installation located (permanently) in front of the Vancouver Public Library (Central Branch), on the corner of Homer/Robson.
This really cool art structure was designed by Vancouver artist, Ron Terada and is titled, “The Words Don’t Fit The Picture”.
Polaroid SX-70.
Steve Bedard & Shawn August of EOS Lightmedia (pictured above) finalized the install on 01.23.2010.
Shawn hooked up his laptop and pressed the “light bulb on” button!!!
I returned later that evening to snap a few night images. Thanks to (Mike & Gavin) for hopping into the photograph.

The theatre installation on the other side is amazing too. Really impressed with all the public art.
