One of the city's premier beat n cut acts, URB Next 100 alumni No Luck Club (brothers Trevor & Matt Chan), are temporarily relocating to Toronto for work on album #3 (following Happiness and Prosperity) and efforts to break into the European market. The upcoming album will follow 2nd album Prosperity and will be released on Expansion Team Records. The general vision for the third album is a "total 70s soundtrack vibe with lots of thematic changes," a style in which they already worked with in a documentary film project called Redress Remix. As for gear updates, Trevor has recently incorporated the Lemur multi-touch controller into their live shows as well as the Monome device for samples.
