I’m not entirely sure of the source of this photo and normally I wouldn’t just grab something off of the internet and paste it onto our blog but this image must be shared. It’s nice having the streets back but those days of madness were a lot of fun, weren’t they?

I was alerted to it’s existence by The Peak, and the link to the photo is http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs519.snc3/27224_351893710875_581315875_4172162_1824896_n.jpg … if you know exactly where it came from please comment below so we can give proper credit.

How I miss thee, awesome days of yore. :(
I’ll be dining on my Olympic memories for years to come.

I’m pretty sure it came from the Vancouver Sun:

That is so beautiful and kind of sad.
I loved having so many people in the city. I loved the vitality and the friendliness and I would be thrilled to have those components here most of the time. I also like crowds at times – and the Olympics was certainly one of those times.
I look at the second pic and think, that’s so sad… so quiet. But, then again, the peace is a quality that I (occasionally) find myself really enjoying about living in Vancouver.
Hmmm…

Memories, happy memories. I agree it is sad that its over. I’m hoping that the paralympics will bring some of that wonderful atmosphere back again.
