I bought that Vancouver 2010 Winter Games guide thing, the official guide with all the info about what to expect, edited and printed before the games even begun. It’s a nice keepsake, but I’ve got to say that the current issue of Maclean’s is over the top good. It tells all of the stories about the Games and Canada’s trials and successes, and the “Greatest Games Ever” on the cover is in direct reference to it being the best games for us. Us Canadians. You were proud two weeks ago and I would venture to say that if you pick up a copy of this special issue you’ll make sure you never forget just how proud you were, how awesome it felt to be allowed to cheer for your country and be so proud to be Canadian like that.

It’s just a special edition of a magazine but it’s a collectible I’m going to be looking back on in 10 years – hell, 10 weeks – to get stoked again.
