Dick’s on Dicks to Five Sixty

March 26, 2010

4 floors, 5 bars, 2 lounges… and unisex washrooms. Whether its gonna be up your alley or not, the new 560 club that is the reincarnation of Richard’s on Richards is definitely gonna be a first of its kind for the city. Its at 560 Seymour (get it?) and taking over the old A&B Sound building. Its apparently been in use already for some Olympic time events. Weekends are gonna be planned for “find me in a club, bottle full of bub”, weekdays are going to continue the gigs that they had at Richards. With the 28,000 sq. ft. spread over four floors and the multi-room layout, there’s definitely room for some creative ideas and nights beyond bubble full of bubbin’ which is what owner Vince Alvaro is apparently hoping for. The basement (which was the old storage room when it was A&B Sound?) is where the 6000 sq foot unisex washrom is set out. The official opening is tonight with Honey Dijon.
