Last night's Pecha Kucha Night at the Vogue was (as expected) inspiring to say the least. At this series of nights where a group of Vancouver influencers are each invited to present 20 slides, talking about each slide for 20 seconds each, I am always thinking of how incredible it is that there are so many interesting, driven, creative people in our city.
There are so many things to love about this event but I think the one thing I love the most is that I imagine most of the people attending the event are thinking about what they would present if given the chance. When they leave the show they take a bunch of great stories and inspiration with them but I think it really gives them inspiration beyond what the speakers are providing them with. There were over a thousand people in attendance last night. That's a lot of inspired minds.
I know you were there last night and that you're reading this so don't be shy! Leave a comment about YOUR favourite thing about Pecha Kucha Night.
Until clips from last night show up on Youtube I leave you with Kris Krug's presentation from over a year ago. Still relevant and inspiring...
