This past weekend the kind folks at Salt Spring Air flew us over to Salt Spring Island to visit one of the V.I.A. not-for-profit's board of directors for an amazing weekend trip.

This past weekend the kind folks at Salt Spring Air flew us over to Salt Spring Island to visit one of the V.I.A. not-for-profit's board of directors for an amazing weekend trip. This little airline flies their 6-passenger floatplanes out of Coal Harbour and out of the airport and over the next few days I'll be sharing five reasons why you should take a trip to this magical little island with them.

Reason #1 is that you'll get a view of your city that you might not ever have seen before. It starts on the water...

Passing by Stanley Park, you begin to gain elevation...

Passing over Lions Gate bridge with an epic view of it...

Downtown is to your left...

Jericho/Spanish Banks to your right...
