Fellow VIA contributer Trevor Clarke and myself recently had a friend in town from Montreal, so we decided to take him for a little North Shore excursion. Trev lives over on the North Shore and his local knowledge really helped us out. People from out of town are usually pretty blown away by Vancouver, and I say this as modestly as possible, but it’s a pretty awesome city.

At Ambleside beach, there is a big, wet, spinning globe. If I remember correctly, it was a gift from the Germans.

Seagulls, very nice.
