Rachel Sawatzky of Cocoa Nymph (which I’ve written about many times on VIA before) messaged me and said she had a secret project and to call her…The project? she was going to make a chocolate dress that would walk the runway during a Malene Grotrian fashion show…and did I want to come take photos?

Um, YES!
I was so excited. Who wouldn’t want to see/help out with/photograph the making of a chocolate dress? We only needed two test building sessions before Rachel had it figured out (that’s why she’s the Cocoa Nymph…she is magic)…here are a few shots of our tests in the store itself:

Then came the big day. We started building ONTO our model, the lovely Erin Thexton, at 3pm and didn’t stop until the show at 8pm!
