This is the first of a couple posts we’re making, why? Skateboarding is super important, without it, dudes would be doing dumber stuff. If you’re one of those suckers like me that’s gotta work all day…at least bring your board to work so you can skate across the viaduct scheduled @ 5:30 pm. I remember the first time I did it, I can’t explain how empowering it felt with all those skaters, after all those years of harassment, here we were taking the streets over! Then I realized it was just the viaduct which is more or less like taking over a pedestrian overpass. Fun and relatively harmless…that’s the Vancouver way….

Seriously though…I’m gonna be super bummed if you don’t get that board out of your closet and meet me at Georgia and Beatty at 5:29…..

If you’re really into skateboarding, the whole day this year looks like a rager….instead of skating spot to spot, the kids are taking to the trains.
