The fireworks are coming back for their 20th year! A staple of Vancouver summers, since 1991 "the fireworks" have meant "a totally awesome international fireworks competition choreographed to music making for 4 incredible summer nights for the entire city to enjoy". They're kicking off this Wednesday night and I'm super proud to inform you that I've been invited to be one of the official judges of this year's contest!

This year's series is being presented by Shore 104FM and it will see the USA, Spain, Mexico and China competing. If you follow us (@VIAwesome) on Twitter you'll be able to catch my live tweets from the judging table each night.

And lastly, I probably don't have to tell you it's gonna be packed down there.
