Best fall ever – during the Winter Olympics, Drunk girl riunning down Hemlock in Yaletown and trying to jump over orange road block barrel. Hilarious! Would have been dramatic if she hadn’t been screaming as she ran down the road and maybe if she hadn’t slid and then quickly jumped up like the road block had tripped her. OK – so maybe it’s really drunk people falling in public that really makes me laugh! God they’re funny.

my best friend never fails to make me laugh. We have all the crazy inside jokes that only we know. He will do the most insane things just to make me laugh.

I have the worst gutter mind and laugh when people say inadvertently sexual or gross things. My boyfriend recently messaged me when he was “pulling in” to the garage to pick me up and I sniggered.

reality dating shows make me so uncomfortable that I get the nervous laugh followed by me having to leave the room because I’m laughing too much.

My sister and I have the most hilarious time together, and often when we’re laughing we starting laughing in exactly the same way, and our voices sound really similar and that just makes us laugh even harder until we are basically hyperventilating and can’t look at each other because we’ll start laughing again and never be able to breathe.

Our new kitten who still doesn’t understand that his tail is attached to him.

Last year I was invited to be on a float in the Vancouver pride parade.

When I arrived I found out that it was a float for a whale watching company.

To Lori above, you comment cracks me up because a) I saw that exact same float at Pride this year and b) I thought the exact same thing when I saw it! I haven’t had an amazing laugh in a while, had a stressful week, this show would be a perfect destresser!

Also, what cracks me up is the noise that indicates the doors closing on the skytrain! It gives you zero warning, sounds offensively high pitched and actually has little function at all since if you’re walking through at the time, you’re still going to get squished. :) Still surprises me all time, even though I take the train a lot!

Whenever my dad says “fluctuations.” From a joke where an Asian guy goes into a bank to exchange money and sometimes he gets $5, sometimes he gets $10 for the same amount. “What’s going on here? How come sometimes I get $5 or sometimes I get $10?” The bankteller says, “fluctuations.” “F-ck the Asians?!! F-ck the Canadians!!!”

What’s cracking me up right now is that every time I meet or am introduced to people here in Vancouver they assume that I moved here because of the *recession* (I’m Irish by the way). Oh, and they all think that I drink Guinness (I don’t drink – they can’t believe it!), grew up on a farm (city girl all the way) and that I believe in leprechauns! Throw in the fact that I’m a lesbian and it gets even funnier (Catholicism anyone?). Hey, I love Margaret Cho and I would love to bring my girlfriend to the show (it’s her 30th birthday this weekend). So please pick me, I’m broke afterall and was forced to flee my farm back home, due to the recession! ;)
