Nick is not your traditional early-rising, coffee-drinking, nature-walking artist. He is the night owl who is glued to social media and has a strong love affair with a little thing called the internet.
Nick's photography style has clean, modern lines and he loves incorporating the new with the old. His perfect photo shoot would include 3 key elements: classic and modern architecture, a little bit of drizzle and some hot lighting - and some subjects who would be up for anything and everything. Finding and surpassing boundaries is his approach to everything in life. He's not afraid to ask questions or voice his opinions, and he is always encouraging others to do the same.
His top 5 things that he loves are: the Vancouver rain, a nice Italian meal, watching a movie with his wife, club sandwiches and, or course, his camera.

01 My Keyboard and a photo of my wife and I. I sit here for 8 hours a day.. tap tap tap on the keyboard.
02 Club Sandwich. I LOVE club sammies. They're my favourite. There's no rule to it, but I often have them for lunch on mondays.
03 The Marine Building. It's my favourite building in Vancouver. So much intricate detail and character. I love learning about the history of Vancouver and this is a nice piece of it.

05 Lucy. My cat. She's the cutest kitty ever. Soft, friendly and adorable.
06 My 5D Mark II. It's a tool, but it's my favourite tool. I like it. ;)
07 Lightroom on my laptop. Another tool. I spend a lot of time in here, too. Editing and culling images from weddings and portrait sessions. And yes, it's windows 7. I am a PC.
08 A Strawberry shortcake cupcake. I like cupcakes, probably a little too much. They're soooo delicious. This is my favourite kind. Yes, it's pink. Yes, I'm comfortable with that. ;)
The Questions
What neighborhood do you live in?
I live in the Albion area of Maple Ridge. Way on the edge of civilization. Seriously. A bear was in my yard on Canada Day.
What do you do and where?
I'm a Wedding and Portrait Photographer in the Metro Vancouver area. I say that, because I work all over. All my shoots are on location. That being said, I am often shooting in downtown Vancouver.
What are you working on?
I'm currently working on a lot of editing and album designing for my 2010 clients. It's the end of the wedding season, but this is also the time where I meet with clients to book for next year.
