Jones Lake revisited

Getting all reflective on the past year, I was thinking back about THIS post I made about a trip up to Jones Lake, a bit past Chilliwack. It reminded me of another trip to Jones that my fishing pals and I went on just a few weeks back, of which I wanted to share a couple of pictures. The lake is fairly high up the mountain and I assume there's a foot of snow up there right now but here's what it looked like at the tail end of fall.

We'll surely be making another trip up there next year (or two or three or four if we're really lucky), and if you're inclined to spend some time in a beautiful mountain setting you might want to do the same. Or, actually, maybe there's good ice fishing up that sketchy dirt road? I don't do well in the ice so you won't be getting that report from me, but perhaps I'll recruit a winterly fisherman to give you the skinny.
