If you've followed Vancouver Is Awesome for any length of time, you are probably aware by now that VIA is a very animal-friendly place. I grew up with at least one dog in the family at all times, and I currently share my home with two wonderful cats (one of whom, Chewbacca, has actually been featured in Nikki Reimer's East Van Cats feature - at least I think it was him).
Needless to say, I am quite fond of all critters great and small, in particular our furry domesticated friends. Charles Kelman took today's photo of what I think is a young lab; a breed of dog that has always been close to my heart.
I wish I had a treat for him/her - I just can't resist those eyes.
