I am but a simple man, with simple pleasures. I can be easily amused. I am not immune to forming a grin as a response to a simple but sweet gesture. With that in mind, I had myself a little chuckle when I visited the pool today in a search for installment 435 of the Daily Flickr Pickr.
I grew up in a family who always had a family dog. And through most of my youth, that position was filled by 2 Golden Retrievers whose terms in office overlapped for about 2 years. Such great dogs; smart and good with kids. Oh, did I mention patient? Any dog that lets you put a hat on its head can be described as a patient dog. And as the end of another March draws near, everyone and their dog starts to pay attention to the Canucks. The protagonist in canucks hat on a dog below by savageblackout is no different - I wonder who the dog thinks should centre the third line after the eye injury to Manny Malhotra?
A real dog's dog. I get the feeling that the hat isn't just an accessory either; I'm sure it helps keep the sun out of his eyes when he's shagging pop-flies while in the outfield.
