The wonderful and talented Jill Southern recently sent us an update of our coat of arms that she designed for us awhile back (the new one is below, it's 35% slicker than the original) and I wanted to take this opportunity to extend a huge thanks to everyone on the back end who makes V.I.A. the community-driven resource that it has become. As a non-profit media company dedicated to the study, promotion and preservation of Vancouver arts and culture, with a positive spin, all of our editors, contributors and board members donate their time each and every week (some each and every day) to help support a variety of different fun and creative, important communities in this city of ours. From music to pets to comedy to events to food to photography and about 20 other subjects in between, none is more important than any other and it humbles me to think of the countless amount of hours that have gone into the thousands of blog posts, facebook posts and tweets that have built this thing and continue to bring Vancouver's awesomeness mostly to it's residents but also to the world.
When I say this is a "huge" thank you, it's actually a very small thank you as it's only one blog post - I don't think there is any way we could possibly thank you all enough, but we try!
