As the days get longer and theoretically a little warmer (although this is arguable), I am reminded that summer isn't too far away, and beaches will beckon. Alas, it might not yet be warm enough to slip into something more, ahem, comfortable - but the beach has been there all along, enjoying some peace and quiet before hosting more than just joggers and dog walkers.
Amanda Gilligan knows this; she shares with us a photo whose title Wreck I assume has more to do with geographical location and less to do with her surname and a guy who calls himself a professor and can build a radio from a coconut but can't wrap his head around the concept of a raft.
Sorry Amanda, that was a cheap joke. I have no willpower. But I do enjoy the photograph of a nice low tide with the clouds and the outline of the islands in the background, as well as the two people in the middle ground, enjoying a walk and hopefully dressed appropriately.
Whatever that is to them.
