Occasionally I will find a photograph in the Flickr Pool that is just too good to pass up. There's no magic formula; I don't know what it is until I see it, but when I see it, I know. Today is such a day, and today's photograph is such a photograph.It is, as they say, a no-brainer.
Simple in concept but masterful in execution, Branden Deschenes found at least a little bit of time to relax during low tide at the beach Wednesday - a beautiful day if I recall - and took the nice, clean Untitled photo you see below. It really invites the viewer to take Branden's place as the protagonist, and I can only speak for myself, but it makes me really want to be there. Kind of reminds me a little of a beer commercial for a particular import brand, while simultaneously bringing to mind the slogan of a local brewery - it's good to be here™.
