55+ Breweries, 70+ Venues, 9 Days of Beer!...

...and luckily I got to be a part of it.

Vancouver Craft Beer Week ran from May 6th to 14th this year and showcased so many of the craft beers (not to mention restaurants, brewmasters, bartenders etc) from around Vancouver, BC and the States.

Yesterday you saw photos from the Women and Beer II event, Friday I attended the Brewery Creek Beer Festival: US (edition). Set in the historic Beatty Street Drill Hall, the VCBW crew brought up brewers and beers from our neighbours to the south for an evening of tastings. Breweries included:

Anderson Valley Brewing Co, Buckbean Brewing Co, Deschutes Brewing Co, Eel River Brewing Co, Elysian Brewing Co, FX Matt Brewing Co, Green Flash Brewing, Hopworks Urban Brewery, Lagunitas Brewing Co, Lexington Brewing Co, Moylan’s Brewery, North Coast Brewing Co, Rogue Ales Brewery, Shipyard Brewing Co, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, Ska Brewing Co, Southern Tier Brewing Co, Stone Brewing Co, Uncommon Brewers...

The event sold-out and was abuzz with beer talk. Check out the shots below and hear about the BC tastings tomorrow!
