Something incredibly simple yet amazing recently launched in our city. It's an online directory called VANCVR.com, it was created and is maintained by the good folks at the web agency, Domain7, and it's completely free to join.
It promises to serve as a handy resource for agencies looking to hire, and a great pool of freelancers or partners that other creatives can all draw from as needed, or just to see who is out there doing the same things as them. Plus it'll be a great source of inspiration. It already is! It takes all of 5 minutes to add yourself so if you're a Vancouver-based designer, developer, photographer, illustrator, videographer or writer then there is no reason why you shouldn't take the time... and countless reasons why you should.
VANCVR.com is something the working creatives of Vancouver could really use and we at V.I.A. have a great feeling about where it could lead. So great, in fact, that starting next week we're going to be bringing you a weekly feature individually highlighting different folks who have added themselves to the directory.
