What a difference a few days can make. Last Saturday the Canucks took a 2-0 series lead over the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, and the Cup looked northward bound for the first time since the Habs won it in 1993. Well, two lop-sided games in Boston later, and now we have ourselves a best-of-three for the Cup, with two of those games being played right here at Rogers Arena. This is why the President's Trophy was worth earning - all Vancouver needs to do is win both of their games at home, and the blue and green confetti will fall on Wednesday. If Boston wins tonight, then the pressure is on for a road win Monday, which is yet to happen in this series. Remember, since one team will be up 3-2 after tonight, Lord Stanley's mug WILL be in the TD Garden on Monday.

Okay, I just remembered that I am the editor of the Daily Flickr Pickr and not a hockey reporter. So with that in mind, here is one more image from last weekend, the first summer-like weekend we've had, and it comes to us courtesy of suchy who attended Hat's Off Day in North Burnaby last Saturday. During the parade suchy captured an image that proves that Vancouver Police Support the Canucks!

I've always been partial to the slow-shutter-with-camera-pan combo myself. And that's a pretty sweet jersey officer; love the vintage jersey with the 'V' on the sleeves.
