I've always liked myself a good picture-within-a-picture shot. There's just something that feels like a bonus to them - like a two-for-one deal or something like that. Throw in some nice contrasty clouds in the sky, maybe some rich, inky black shadows, and just for good measure, place a solitary car and a graphic arrow in the frame - I am sold. Black and white seems to make perfect sense in this case.
That's how gwacdotca caught my attention with his photograph "rear window".
