With 26,518+ artists, boasting 122,191+ tracks, the CBC Radio 3 web site is the absolute ultimate authority, and the home, of independent music in Canada. With that massive library along with tools for members (free to join!), we’re taking advantage of what they’ve set up by bringing you a fresh batch of music every week featuring local groups who have tracks (entire albums, even!) on the R3 site.
Another weekend, another summer festival...Live At Squamish is happening up in, well, Squamish and I couldn't be more excited. I missed out last year but this time around I'll be there running from stage to stage with my camera. On one of those stages will be Vancouver's The Belle Game who won their spot by popular vote (if the name sounds familiar it might be because they're amongst the ranks of the Top 20 in the Peak Performance Project). On TOP of that, they're also playing this week with Rococode and Elias at the Electric Owl (on Thursday)!
