I experienced photographic love-at-first sight today, and it left me with a silly little grin my face. There's just something so innocent and so universal about the below photograph from Mark Marilla. It really piques my interest to the point that I want to know what is on the other side of the fence - a barking dog? An even fancier and more impressive ball? Greener grass?
In the end, such details are irrelevant to me. The end result is a good photo. Mark's scanner poetically calls it scn060.
