November's Midnight Cult Classics at the RIO, co-sponsored by VancouverIsAwesome.com

V.I.A.

V.I.A. is proud to be an ongoing co-sponsor of the RIO theatre's Friday night Midnight Cult Classics! Each month they've usually got a theme for these films and the only thing I can see tying together these 4 classic films showing in November is that they're about rising up against the man (ie: #Occupy), starting this Friday with V for Vendetta! The Friday after is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (Gonzo journalism and the rise of counterculture), followed by Buffy the Vampire Slayer (vampire occupation!) and ending on the last Friday of the month with Team America: World Police (essentially sticking it to world leaders).

Check out all 4 of the theatrical trailers for these films below and visit RIOTheatre.ca for showtimes and more info.
